Vocational Redirection

Sometimes returning to work in a previous role is no longer appropriate for an individual. Should this be the case, we offer a range of vocational services to help identify appropriate employment options for clients, including:

Vocational Triage Assessment                                                                   

A brief telephone assessment and report to determine the suitability of vocational rehabilitation and confirm the most appropriate form of assessment where required.

Vocational/Career Redirection Assessment                                              

An assessment of an individual’s current functional status, previous education, employment and training; in order to assist with identifying appropriate suitable vocational options to assist with a return to work.

Includes Labour Market Research (LMR), up to 3 potential vocational options and ongoing recommendations for vocational support with costings etc.

Assessments can be completed remotely or face-to-face

Vocational Work-Ready Programme                                                    

An ongoing programme of vocational support to assist an individual to develop the necessary skills to become independent in job seeking (usually completed following Vocational Redirection Assessment). Includes:

  • Vocational counselling to confirm a suitable vocational/occupational goal
  • Assistance with CV writing and developing
  • Job seeking and information regarding sourcing appropriate roles
  • Interview preparation
  • Injury disclosure
  • Support in accessing appropriate resources such as Access to Work and Supported Employment Schemes as required

Transferable Skills Analysis (TSA):

Assessment of an individual’s transferrable skills following an in-depth review of their previous employment, education and training experience.

Includes up to 3 potential vocational options.
